BOH Staff (PT Line Cooks)
Superflux’s Purpose is to “Bring Happyness & Do Cool Sh!t”, via “F*$king Awesome Food & Beverage Experiences”.
Our BOH Team Members are key players in our mission to deliver on the above promises. BOH Team Members are passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering “F*$king Awesome Food & Beverage Experiences” to guests. Team members are welcome to join us in both full and part-time roles, and, as careers or as supplemental/secondary jobs.
At Superflux, BOH Team Members rotate duties and are expected to perform all BOH duties collaboratively, such as preparation of recipes, cooking in each station to a high standard, opening the restaurant, closing the restaurant and overall cleanliness of the BOH. Leaders may assign additional tasks for the restaurant needs.
Your humility, openness, and desire to learn and improve will allow you to gain more shifts and accountabilities, including promotion to leadership roles when available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure all guests are receiving the best quality food, morning, day and night!
- Ensure all Health & Safety Regulations are followed at all times while maintaining a clean restaurant.
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required in all stations
- Prepare recipes to presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain work station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Review par levels
- Complete checklists
- Opening the kitchen
- Closing the kitchen
- Record waste as needed
- Work collaboratively with your team
- Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
- Other duties as requested
Requirements Include:
- 1-2 Years of Relevant Experience (line cook in hospitality, restaurants, etc),
- Food Safe Certification (Recommended)
- A keen eye for detail,
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and consistency during those times,
- Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments,

Reservations policy
- While we operate primarily on a first come first served basis, {Cabana} is open to a limited number of 2-10 person reservations daily through OpenTable.
- We offer partial buyouts of 25, and full buyouts of 45 people, on a case by case basis. (Please email info@superfluxcabana.com)
- For reservations of 12+, please email info@superfluxcabana.com
- We need 24 hours notice for all reservations (Last minute plans? Just come on down, or check out our online waitlist!)
- Please note* {Cabana} is an intimate space without booster seats, high chairs, change tables or a kids menu. We do not allow the use of crayons or colouring at our tables. We have limited space for strollers.*

Is there a wait / how long is the wait for a table at {Cabana}?
You can check the live waitlist here. If there is a wait you put your name and group on the waitlist and we will text you once your table is ready.
You can join the {Cabana} waitlist from anywhere. This is the same waitlist our staff use and is updated in real-time.
If there is no wait just come on in, and we will get you seated right away!

Is the {Cabana} patio Open?
Is there room for big groups at {Cabana}?
Yes! Our largest table in the lounge can comfortably accommodate 8 guests, maybe 12 if you are willing to cozy up!
There is space on our patio for groups of up to 8 people. Keep in mind this too will be first come first serve.
For groups bigger than 6 {we get it, you got lots of friends} we will do our best to seat you at tables next to or nearby during non-peak times. However, during peak times we may not be able to seat you at the same time or at nearby tables, or add you to the waitlist and maybe have to split your group.

Can we order {Cabana} to go?
Our cans from Superflux Beer Company and food are available for pickup. Delivery is available through DoorDash.
What beers are available at {Cabana}?
We have all the freshest beers from Superflux Beer Company on tap – we’re the only place to get the latest brewery-exclusive releases.
Our tap list and cans to-go are updated regularly on our website – you can check them out here. If it’s available, it’s fresh.
What can my non-beer drinking friends have?
We have a fun lineup of non-beer beverages available — a good selection for summer days/vacations/tailgating.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
We have veggie and vegan options. There are gluten-friendly options {gluten-free buns} but we cannot guarantee anything to be completely gluten-free as our main gig Superflux is big on all kinds of Barley Sandwiches, and cross-contamination is always a risk.
Can kids come to {Cabana}?
Superflux {Cabana} is designed comfortably for adults. And adults love booze, big meals and songs that say f*ck.
Kids are welcome to hang out in our {Cabana}- provided they stay supervised and seated at the tables.

Can our dog come with us to {Cabana}?
Sadly, the {Cabana} Lounge and Patio are not pet-friendly.
What are these {} for?
These little brackets { } have a variety of names; they are called braces, curly brackets, or squiggly brackets. Usually, these types of brackets are used for lists, but online, they also signify hugging in electronic communication. How cute. We like to think of them as a little Cabana that the word Cabana sits comfortably in.
