BOH Staff (PT Line Cooks)

Our BOH Team Members are key players in our mission to deliver on the above promises. BOH Team Members are passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering “F*$king Awesome Food & Beverage Experiences” to guests. Team members are welcome to join us in both full and part-time roles, and, as careers or as supplemental/secondary jobs. 

At Superflux, BOH Team Members rotate duties and are expected to perform all BOH duties collaboratively, such as preparation of recipes, cooking in each station to a high standard, opening the restaurant, closing the restaurant and overall cleanliness of the BOH. Leaders may assign additional tasks for the restaurant needs.

Your humility, openness, and desire to learn and improve will allow you to gain more shifts and accountabilities, including promotion to leadership roles when available.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensure all guests are receiving the best quality food, morning, day and night!
  • Ensure all Health & Safety Regulations are followed at all times while maintaining a clean restaurant.
  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required in all stations
  • Prepare recipes to presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain work station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Review par levels 
  • Complete checklists
  • Opening the kitchen
  • Closing the kitchen
  • Record waste as needed
  • Work collaboratively with your team
  • Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
  • Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
  • Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
  • Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
  • Other duties as requested
Requirements Include:
  • 1-2 Years of Relevant Experience (line cook in hospitality, restaurants, etc),
  • Food Safe Certification (Recommended)
  • A keen eye for detail,
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and consistency during those times,
  • Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments,
Further Details:
  • $20-23 Per Hour 
  • Participation in the Tip Pool, ($8-10/hr avg),

FOH Staff (All Positions)

FOH Team Members are passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering “F*$king Awesome Food & Beverage Experiences” to guests. Team members are welcome to join us in both full and part-time roles, and, as careers or as
supplemental/secondary jobs.

At Superflux, FOH Team Members rotate duties and are expected to perform all FOH duties collaboratively, such as hosting, serving a section, working the retail counter, bussing, running food, and working the bar. Leaders assign daily appointments
based on the needs of the business and the training/competency level(s) of specific members working during a given shift.
Your humility, openness, and desire to learn and improve will allow you to gain more shifts and accountabilities, including promotion to leadership roles when available.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing professional and consistent hospitality to our guests, per company standards,
  • Understanding all menu items (Food & Beverage), and possessing the ability to serve those items with passion and care,
  • Providing efficient table and bar service to guests, 
  • Execute hosting/retail/expo/other duties as required, 
  • Running food and ensuring proper and accurate delivery of all items, as per company standards,
  • Clearing, bussing, cleaning restaurant tables and sections during service, 
  • Daily tasks, before and after service, including but not limited to; cleaning, routine maintenance as per SOPs, prep work for next shifts, polishing, re-stocking, etc,
  • Maintaining and adhering to all safety protocols, 
  • Abiding by all policies, SOPs, and standards of the company.
Requirements Include:
  • 2+ Years of Relevant Experience (retail, hospitality, restaurants, etc),
  • Experience working a multi-table section required,
  • Serving it Right Certification,
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills,
  • A keen eye for detail,
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and consistency during those times,
  • Excellent emotional control in fast-paced environments
Further Details:
  • Minimum wage plus,
  • Participation in the Tip Pool, ($17-23/hr avg),
  • Staff discounts.
